What’s for dinner? For many of us this is one of the most
dreaded questions we may hear on a regular basis. If it comes from a spouse or child, it often
comes across as a challenge. It’s like
them daring you to answer. (By the way, the correct answer is “I don’t know
what you are making?”). When you ask yourself the question, it can be
full of dread. Trying to come up with
something new often times is quite stressful.
I read awhile back that
most people eat about ten different meals on a regular basis. I would say that I fall into this
category. About a year ago I started
making a weekly menu to make my life easier (which it has). I also created a “dinner idea” list which is
often my goto while planning the next week’s menu. However, I must say that I
am lacking a great variety in my meal choices.
While I often have the desire to come up with new menu choices, I often
do not find the time to make it happen.
That is where this year New Year’s resolution comes in. It is about time that I made the time to
liven up my weekly menu.
